Black Princesses Face Off With Mexico In A Friendly

The Black Princesses of Ghana will play Mexico in a friendly match on August 22 ahead of the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in Colombia.

The match will take place at the Centro Deportivo Choquenza in Bogota, Colombia, as part of the preparations for the upcoming global tournament.

The Princesses left the United States on Wednesday to travel to Colombia for the tournament. They arrived the following day.

Black Princesses Secure Gold Medal At The African Games

In addition to other friendly matches, Mexico will play South Korea and a club team on August 31.

Mexico is in Group A with hosts Colombia, Australia, and Cameroon, while Ghana is in Group E with Japan, New Zealand, and Austria.

The Black Princesses have qualified to the World Cup from— 2010, 2012, 2014, 2015, 2018, 2022 and will also represent their country at this year’s tournament, 2024.
