Black Queens Of Ghana Open Camp In Morroco

More than 19 players have already reported to camp as part of Ghana’s Black Queens’ training tour in Casablanca, Morocco. The team is currently lodging at the Ibis Hotel, where they will be getting ready for the FIFA February window.

On Sunday, February 16th, Air Maroc brought the management officials, home-based players, and technical team to Morocco. The other players in the camp were joined by a few players from other countries. It is anticipated that Jennifer Cudjoe, Azumah Bugre, and Grace Asantewaa will arrive later from their respective bases in the United States, Turkey, and Mexico.

The Ghana Women’s Premier League’s top scorer, Mary Amponsah, was called up late to replace Alice Kusi on Tuesday due to an injury, but the team is still awaiting her arrival.

With This, The Future Of The Black Queens Is Guaranteed

This 10-day training trip is to keep the Black Queens in shape and give head coach Kim Lars Björkegren time to evaluate, bond, and assemble a formidable team in preparation for the Women’s African Cup of Nations (WAFCON).

The Black Queens will play the Atlas Lionesses of Morocco at Père Jègo Stadium on February 21 as part of their training tour. Three days later, they will play AS FAR Club.
