The Ghana Football Association has sent its best wishes to six players who couldn’t join the Black Stars team for the playoffs games against Nigeria due to injuries.
Majeed Ashimeru, Antoine Semenyo, Baba Abdul Rahman, Samuel Owusu, Richmond Boakye Yiadom and Kamaldeen Sulemana were all given call ups to the senior national team and were required to make it to camp, yet failed to join them because of injuries at their respective club sides.
Team Doctors of the various clubs of the players wrote and officially notified the GFA regarding their injury circumstances and affirmed their inaccessibility for the twofold header against Nigeria.
The GFA is however, monitoring the recovery of the said players, and trusting that the injured players will recuperate rapidly and enlist in the Black Stars team for future tasks.
Meanwhile, the GFA remain firm in the conviction that the players will join Ghanaians to help the team in the nation’s journey to show up at the FIFA World Cup for the fourth time.
