Starting from March 2025, these models will feature silicon carbide semiconductor components in their power electronics and low-rolling-resistance tires, resulting in increased range—up to 47 kilometers more, depending on the configuration. Additionally, standard equipment now includes ambient lighting with the BMW Interaction Bar, lumbar support for front seats, and the Harman Kardon HiFi loudspeaker system.
BMW 2 Series Gran Coupé: The 2025 BMW 2 Series Gran Coupé has been unveiled with a design closely resembling the new 1 Series. The updated model features a dynamic exterior with a widened front grille, sleek elongated profile, and updated LED headlights. Inside, it offers a premium, leather-free cabin equipped with the BMW Curved Display and the latest iDrive system running on BMW Operating System 9. The top-tier M235 xDrive Gran Coupé delivers 300 hp, accelerating from 0-60 mph in 4.9 seconds. The new 2 Series Gran Coupé is set to launch in March 2025.
Next-Generation iDrive System: At CES 2025, BMW presented its next-generation iDrive multimedia system, which will debut in the Neue Klasse models. This system integrates four central elements: the BMW Panoramic Vision head-up display, a new 3D head-up display, an updated central display with matrix backlight technology, and a redesigned multifunction steering wheel with touch-sensitive controls. With its sophisticated digital interfaces and user-friendly controls, the system runs on the latest version of the BMW operating system, X.
