American pop vocalist and entertainer, Britney Spears is celebrating 20 years of the release of her album ‘Oops!… I Did It Again’. Time passes quickly and she never foresaw the album that helped in catapulting her to worldwide fame could come so quick. Yes, it is two decades already. ‘Oops!… I Did It Again’ was released on May 16, 2000.
The singer immediately took to Instagram to celebrate this commemoration. During the celebration on Instagram, she clarified the album was more ‘matured’ than her past music, in any event, saying the album’s first single was better than “Baby One More Time.”
She posted:
“Thank you to whoever made this ….. I just nearly dropped my phone I wasn’t expecting it !!!!!” Spears wrote in the video’s caption. “20 years since the Oops! album.”
“All of my expectations were exceeded !!!! And it’s all thanks to you folks,” she continued. “Thank you for sticking with me and growing with me. I am one Lucky girl. God Bless and thank you all!!!!!!”
“PS you see even 20 years ago I still liked to twirl!!!!”
