Earlier this week, Britney Spears shut down her Instagram account. This sparked concerns among her fans, who sent the police to her house to conduct a health check.
However, it appears that the 41-year-old singer was dissatisfied with the outcome. She then voiced her opinion on the matter on her Twitter handle. It is interesting to note that she has also deleted her account from the social media platform a number of times previously.
Additionally, Britney discussed her mental health and a recent incident in which she declared, “It’s Britney B***h.” On Saturday, January 28, Britney declared that she is “healthy and well” on her Twitter account.
In addition, she shared a video of herself and said that she enjoys yoga and going to the gym. She also disclosed the reason she left Instagram. She wrote,
“I shut down my Instagram because there were too many people saying I looked like an idiot dancing and that I looked crazy. Honestly I was doing my best but it disturbed me to see people freely talk about it on TV … yep it hurt my feelings.”
She once more voiced her opinion regarding some of her fans’ decision to summon the police to her residence. She stated that the action was inappropriate and that she was shocked by it.
“It was a way to make (me) look bad”. “I’m shocked as hell that when I took my Instagram down fans got worried and sent the cops to my house (cop car emoji) … it really was uncalled for … l adore my fans but for those who did that aren’t real fans and I honestly felt like it was a way to make me look bad.” she said.
She also talked more about a recent public incident that triggered her when she spoke about the issue. She said that she was in a restaurant when two loud, booze-soaked girls sat next to her.
Britney admitted that it traumatized her and brought back memories of her wedding day. She claimed that while she revealed to the girls that it was Britney Spears, she instructed them to flee from her.
“l’m alive, fine, healthy, and ready to start a new day – a new morning anew !!! To my real fans, God bless you (folded hands emoji) !!!”, she wrote on Twitter.
