China will restore its 15-day without visa entry for residents of Singapore and Brunei from July 26, as per the embassies of the two nations.
This comes following a three-year suspension of visas as China took on severe travel limitations under its rigid zero-Coronavirus policies, which ended in December 2022.
The start of the visa-free entry policy “will facilitate people and business flows between our countries and pave the way for deeper bilateral cooperation,” Singapore’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
As indicated by Foreign Affairs proclamation, Singapore residents can now enter China without a visa for 15 days if they are there for business, tourism, family visits and travel, the Chinese government office to Singapore said.
It added that visas which have been given to Singaporean residents will in any case be legitimate and those that have been mentioned will be processed.
