A video of Busta Rhymes and his entourage walking through an airport terminal went viral on social media on Valentine’s Day, February 14.
Nikita Mathis, a fervent fan, runs up behind the rapper in the video and touched his bottom. Inadvertently, the 50-year-old threw his drink at her, splashing several onlookers.
When the video of the rapper throwing the drink in the blink of an eye went viral across all of social media, it spread like wildfire across the internet.
However, Nikita Mathis has the following to say about the incident:
“I didn’t mean to touch his behind,” Mathis told The Shade Room. “Honestly, I was just happy to meet him and wanted a picture. As a longtime fan, I admit I shouldn’t have touched him at all, but he’s BUSTA.” “I felt like I could possibly get a picture.”
The artist’s strict stance on personal space is demonstrated by other incidents that have occurred in the past.

Busta was performing onstage at a concert in New York City in August 2022 when a fan tried to grab his hand. Busta had to swat the arm away. Busta confronted the woman and her partner during the broadcast, which only exacerbated the situation.
Busta Rhymes has not commented on the incident as at now.
