Céline Dion’s Fantastic Musical Theater Starts Off the Year

Following a frustrating illness that lasted for several months in 2024, Céline Dion has been actively involved in a number of noteworthy projects as of this year (2025).

The musical “Titanique” made its West End debut in January 2025. The 1997 movie “Titanic” is reimagined in this production using Céline Dion’s image and songs as a guide.

Set to Dion’s well-known songs, the show has a humorous plot that combines pop culture allusions with aspects of the original film.

Directed by Tye Blue and co-written by Constantine Rousouli and Marla Mindelle, “Titanique” has received praise from all over the world and will soon be seen in France in addition to Sydney, Toronto, and Montreal.

Meanwhile, her documentary “I Am: Celine Dion” was released in June 2024.

Her struggle with Stiff-Person Syndrome is one aspect of her life and career that is intimately examined in the documentary. On June 17, 2024, the movie had its New York City premiere. On June 25, 2024, it was made available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video.

The documentary’s honest depiction of Dion’s career and personal journey has won praise from critics.

Dion has three sons: twins Nelson and Eddy, ages 14 and 23, and René-Charles Angélil, age 23. René-Charles, her oldest son, has pursued a career in music, performing under the stage names RC Angélil and Big Tip.

She has been incredibly proud of her kids’ achievements and their support of one another.
