In a deal that includes add-ons and a £23 million obligation to buy next year, Chelsea has finally signed Jadon Sancho on loan from Manchester United.
The London club has signed the 24-year-old forward, and the Blues are obligated to pay £23 million for him in 2025.
Sancho spoke on his move, saying:
‘I’m really excited to be here. London is where I grew up and I’m happy to be back. The manager spoke to me about the project and, for a young player, it’s exciting. Hopefully I can bring goals and assists to the Bridge.’
After Raheem Sterling joined Arsenal, he will be replaced by Jadon Sancho. The former Borussia Dortmund star had a well-documented disagreement with head coach Erik ten Hag last season.
