The 2024 MTV VMAs’ list of outstanding performers for this year includes new additions.
The amazing melodic night is one of the most expected nights fans are anticipating. At the event, a list of artists has been scheduled to appear and perform.
The performers who will take the stage on Ablaze on September 11, 2024, now includes some new, well-known names.
On September 11, Benson Boone, Lisa, and Lenny Kravitz will perform at the VMAs in New York’s UBS Arena. For the first time in 25 years, Kravitz will return to the awards show with a live performance.
In contrast, Halsey will perform a song from their forthcoming fifth album. Not only that, but there will also be some debut performances.
Lisa of Blackpink, who is nominated in four categories (best K-pop, best choreography), and Boone, who is up for three awards this year, will be performing for the first time at the MTV VMAs.

At the Awards, Katy Perry will perform a live performance of a medley from her career.
In 2011, Perry won the Video of the Year award for her song ‘Firework’. She will become the tenth artist to win the Vanguard Award and Video of the Year, joining Madonna, Peter Gabriel, R.E.M., Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake, Beyoncé, Rihanna, P!nk, and Missy Elliott.
In honor of the 23rd anniversary of 9/11, MTV has also revealed that the 2024 VMAs will now take place on September 11.
As previously announced, Taylor Swift leads the VMAs this year with ten nominations in total. With nine nominations, her Fortnight partner Post Malone comes in second.
Olivia Rodrigo, Ariana Grande, Eminem, Megan Thee Stallion, and SZA are among the other notable candidates for the Moon Award this year.
