The Ministry of Youth and Sports (Ghana) has given a mandate to the National Sports Authority and the Ghana Football Association to see to it that only fans who are completely vaccinated are allowed into the various stadia on Match Days.
This was included in a press statement given by the Public Relations Directorate of the Ministry of Youth and Sports on Tuesday, March 1, 2022.
Back in October, 2021, the President of the Ghana Football Association Kurt Okraku had declared that anyone who is not fully vaccinated will not be access to the stadium for fans ahead of the 2021/2022 League season.
He referenced that, the Ghana Football Association was working with government and applicable partners to guarantee that fans take their COVID-19 jabs and get vaccinated before they will be permitted to watch games at the various league centres.
The most recent mandate comes after the Director General of the National Sports Authority last week revealed that clubs can now admit fans to full limit of their respective grounds.
This mandate is starting off now.
