A summary of the key information has been made public 30 days prior to the start of this year’s COPA América tournament.
The competition is scheduled for February 22–March 2, 2025. Three spots for the Seychelles World Cup will be awarded. The first CONMEBOL Copa América will take place over eight days on the beaches of Iquique, Chile.
Groups:
Group A— Chile, Colombia, Uruguay, Bolivia, and Ecuador.
Group B— Brazil, Argentina, Paraguay, Peru, and Venezuela.
Each team will compete in four matches during the Group Stage. Teams that place third through fifth will play an extra match in the Final Stage to determine positions five through ten, while the top two teams from each group will move on to the Semifinals.
A spot in the Seychelles World Cup, which will take place in Victoria, Mahé Island, from May 1 to May 11, will be awarded to the top three teams in this year’s Copa América competition.
