Following weeks of auditions, TV3 has at long last unveiled the final 16 contestants of the first edition of Mentor Season 12 on Sunday, October 22, 2023.
Mentor is a show laid out to recognize great talents in music and showcase them on bigger platforms. The judges of the music show had to finally settle on 16 contestants out of the 30 who were chosen from the regional auditions.
On Sunday 15th October, 2023, the judges had the final selection out of the 30 contestants. Every one of the contestants had the floor to feature their talents to the judges. However, some were screened, and judges needed to choose the last 16 hopefuls.
Up until this point, the judges have distinguished idiosyncrasies and incredible talents among the contestants, although the rappers among them are only a few.

Mentor is a music reality show organized by TV3. Housed and coached by industry greats like Kwabena Kwabena, Ritchie Mensah and Kaywa, contestants of this competition are supposed to win audience to vote for them by their performance week after week while the candidate with less votes get evicted until the final winner is crowned.
