Cristiano Ronaldo Breaks Record After Officially Launching His YouTube Channel

On Wednesday, August 21, Cristiano Ronaldo officially launched his YouTube channel. Within hours, millions of subscribers had signed up for the channel, breaking a record.

On his “UR Cristiano” channel, the Portugal international posted 19 videos of himself and his family.

“The wait is over. My @YouTube channel is finally here! SIUUUbscribe and join me on this new journey,” Ronaldo posted on Instagram.

The Al Nassr forward broke the world record for the fastest channel to reach one million subscribers within 90 minutes of its launch. He has 15.4 million and counting now.

The 39-year-old Ronaldo shared a video on Instagram in which he showed his children a gold “play button” plaque that he received from YouTube in recognition of reaching one million subscribers.

He wrote:

“A present for my family. Thank you to all the SIUUUbscribers!”

However, Ronaldo still has a long way to go before he reaches Mr. Beast, the YouTuber with the most subscribers with 331 million.

Ronaldo has a staggering 636 million Instagram followers, 112.6 million on X, and 170 million on Facebook.
