In Saudi Arabia, Cristiano Ronaldo and his partner Georgina Rodriguez have appointed a new chief security after dismissing former members of their security team due to concerns about the safety of his family. However, the “intimidating and violent” behavior of the bodyguard has caused anxiety among the former Manchester United star’s close circle.

Cristiano Ronaldo and his partner received a series of concerning threats on the internet, which prompted this new action. Interestingly, for a number of reasons, Ronaldo’s close associates oppose his decision to change his security.

Following a string of concerning threats on social media that apparently prompted police action, the Al-Nassr super star, who resides in the Saudi capital of Riyadh wife Georgina and his five children, felt obliged to increase their security.

Since Ronaldo moved to Al-Nassr in 2023, the pair has reportedly been able to have a comparatively quiet and tranquil life in Riyadh, taking walks and going on excursions with their kids, according to the Malaysian publication NST.

However, it has been stated that the family is on edge due to upsetting remarks made to the Portuguese icon and Georgina on social media, which has prompted Ronaldo to intervene.

The publication adds that Georgina, in particular, is keen to dramatically reduce her kids’ social media exposure after showcasing snippets of her and Ronaldo’s family on their Instagram sites in the past.

The decision is thought to be a part of a bigger security effort to stop the concerning threats and messages from targeting their children, despite early rumors that it was a personal decision.

According to Spanish publication Marca, the former Manchester United, Real Madrid, and Juventus player has now appointed security specialist Claudio Miguel Vaz as his primary bodyguard.

Vaz, who specializes in the private sector and has worked in troubled neighborhoods, has gained notoriety on social media after amassing more than 12,000 Instagram followers.
