
Lawyer and veteran quizmaster Dan-Afari Yeboah, who has hosted the most loved quiz reality show ‘What Do You Know?’ on Ghana Television (GTV) for more than forty years, has announced plans to take ownership of the programme.
Regardless of his well established contribution, Afari-Yeboah still can’t seem to completely assume control over the show’s production from GTV. In an interview on Joy Prime television, the mind blowing quizmaster revealed that the show at first had just a single sponsor, who in the end pulled out.
However, following a number of public suggestions, he intends to acquire complete ownership of the show from the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC). He will then, acquaint a sponsorship model to drive its growth.
“Many people ask this question, and I think that it will facilitate my desire now to see how we can go and take it. In a fullness of time, which will soon arrive, we must take hold of the programme,” he said.
According to him, his double job as a practicing lawyer has blocked him from assuming full command over the show.
As a lawyer, his essential spotlight has been on his law career, allowing for the test program.

Regardless of his enthusiasm for the work, Yeboah revealed that his remuneration has been deficient. But he underscored that his trustworthiness has remained unfaltering, and he has never surrendered to financial incitements to think twice about show’s credibility by leaking questions to contestants.
Yeboah credited his team’s sincerity and dedication for the show’s continued relevance over the years and its consistent success.
