Barcelona legend Dani Alves is set to be reunited with his former playing partner and presently manager of the Spanish giants, Xavi, after the club wants him to return.

In a statement delivered by Barcelona, the club announced that Alves will join the first team for the rest of the season.

The Brazilian will begin training from next week but can not play until January 2022.
