Cardi B has opened up her tumultuous relationship with Offset as of late. The couple met in 2017 and share two kids together.
As per latest reports, the couple is enjoying a positive outlook after a short split. Cardi B shared that, they still deeply love each other despite every one of the obstacles they confronted together.
In a fresh cover story for ‘Rolling Stone’, the rapper spoke openly about the high points and low points of her relationship with her partner Offset.
As superstars, the couple has been under the public eye for their not so ‘strong’ relationship, which has been set apart by unfaithfulness, a progression of separations, and harsh public disagreements.
The two have been married for almost seven years now. In spite of cases of a split that came up in December last year, she told fans,
“I’ve been single for a minute now,” Cardi shared a new update with the outlet, saying the two are “all right now.”
“The part I love is that we really like each other, like a support system,” she explained, alluding to how they are each other’s greatest cheerleaders.
In the midst of her frivolous battles and challenges, she appreciates how Offset steps in to communicate on her behalf. Talking about the challenges they face, Cardi B admitted,
“We have our own bad stuff. We’re from two different worlds.” She admitted that her demanding career often takes a toll on her personal life, saying, “My career comes first, then my kids come second, and then sometimes I don’t realize that I’m putting so many things before my relationship.”
Cardi further noticed that there were times when her relationship took a secondary lounge to her work and family, and thus, she failed to enjoy some time off. She also said that Offset held advising her to get away together, but it was challenging for her as work was her main goal, followed by her children.
Hence, she frequently felt remorseful, saying that she focused on her relationship the least. In any case, she said that they had a great deal of love for one another, even after all that occurred.
