
Gospel musician Evangelist Diana Asamoah has disclosed that she was close to producing a song with Highlife legend Daddy Lumba, but the project never materialized because of her own delay.
Speaking in an interview with Mike 2 on Adom FM’s Entertainment Hall on Saturday, August 30, 2025, Diana Asamoah admitted that she was the reason the collaboration did not come to fruition.

According to her, she delayed the process because she was seeking spiritual direction.
“I was just about to work on a song with Daddy Lumba, but I became the problem. I delayed because I was praying over the collaboration,” she confessed.
The revelation has sparked reactions from fans of both artistes, many of whom had long anticipated a gospel-highlife fusion between the two celebrated musicians.
