Diana Hopeson Is Out With A New Album, Celebrates Golden Jubilee

Veteran gospel performer, Diana Hopeson has been in the music scene for more than two decades. She has served not exclusively to Ghanaians but the world over through her uplifting and life-changing gospel tunes.

She recently performed at the just ended ‘Women In Worship’ Event alongside several other gospel stars in Ghana. Days after this delightful occasion that celebrated Veteran Gospel Acts in Ghana, the ever-smiling Diana Hopeson released her most recent Album on Sunday, September 27, 2020.

The album launch had other artists uphold her. The album ‘Hope Vol. 1’ will be distributed on digital platforms with the assistance of Ghanaian music streaming service, Aftown.

The lovely aspect of the outdooring of this album is that, it was released to recognize her golden jubilee celebration. This celebration festivity will have other intriguing activities stamping it, and will include workshops and a Christmas exhibition.

The celebration proceeds next year from now with activities like: ‘Epiphany’, ‘Valentine Special’ and ‘GHMusic Publishing Artistes On Parade’. There will also be the ‘Women In Creative Arts Honors’, which is booked for Friday, October 23, 2020.

Diana Hopeson is the former President of the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA). Her commitments to the Ghanaian music industry won her a National Honors Award, which was presented to her by former President of Ghana, John Agyekum Kufuor in 2007.

Her debut album was released in 1991, and from that point forward, Diana Hopeson has released numerous others totalling more than 10 albums all through her music career.

She also filled in as the Chairperson of the Interim Management Board of the Copyright Society of Ghana (COSGA) and a board member of the Ghana Music Rights Organization.

She fills in as the current second Vice-Chairperson of GHAMRO and the CEO of GhMusic Publishing and Management.
