Nigerian disc jockey Florence Ifeoluwa Otedola, better known by her stage name DJ Cuppy, has declared that she will not stay in any situation that requires her to conceal who she really is, whether it be a relationship or on a platform.
According to the Afrobeats singer and producer, she will no longer change who she is to fit in with particular circumstances.
On Monday, December 16, the 32-year-old performer made this announcement on her X handle.
She wrote,
“I’m not staying in a room, a convo, a relationship, a platform, or anywhere at all that requires me to abandon my true self. I’m done with that!”
After some lovely moments, Cuppy’s previous relationship with British boxer Ryan Taylor ended.
Just seven months after their unexpected engagement in November 2022, they split up in July 2023.
