Nigerian music producer and singer, Michael Collins Ajereh, known by his stage name, Don Jazzy has lost his mother.
The well known singer affirmed this in a post on his verified Facebook and Instagram pages on Saturday July 23.
As per him, the mother had been battling cancer before her passing, saying regardless of the sickness, the mother was very strong till the last moment when she surrendered.
The Mavins Records boss called for prayers for the dispossessed family and the spirit of his mom to find happiness in the hereafter.
Don Jazzy portrayed his departed mother as a generous woman who was cherished by everybody that consistently met her.
The post reads,
“I lost my sweet mother this morning. The matriarch of our family. My supporter and backbone @indianpicolo.
“I am beyond devastated. I have never felt pain like this in my life but I am consoled by the good life she lived. She was so strong till the last minute for us even while she battled cancer.
“I have never typed a more difficult caption in my life”.

Don Jazzy is the founder and the CEO of Mavin Records. The 39 year-old was co-owner of the ‘dead’ Mo’ Hits Records record label with Dbanj. His younger sibling is D’Prince.
