RFK guaranteed that the Democratic Party had become part of war, censorship, corruption, big Pharma, big tech, among other allegations. He didn’t spare the media too. He slammed the media and said they practiced “censorship.”

In 2023, the former Democrat left the party and became an independent candidate for president.

RFK Jr. also claimed that the Democratic Party had set itself to dismantling democracy. He also accused Democrats of breaking voting rules and claiming that they had perpetuated “censorship” in the United States.

Kennedy explained,

“In my heart, I no longer believe that I have a realistic path to electoral victory. I cannot in good conscience ask my staff and volunteers to keep working their long hours or ask my donors to keep giving when I cannot honestly tell them that I have a real path to the White House.”

Kennedy, however, clarified that he was suspending rather than terminating his campaign, noting that he is going to take away his name in about 10 battleground states.

In addition, he stated that he has already started the process of doing so and that voters in those states could support him without harming or helping President Trump or Vice President Harris.
