
Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the vice president of the Republic of Ghana, cast his ballot in Walewale, the capital of Mamprusi West Municipality in Ghana’s northeast.
Earlier this morning, Dr. Bawumia used his right to vote in Ghana’s northern region.
Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has stated that he is extremely hopeful of winning the general elections that are currently taking place across the country.
Following his vote, he expressed his faith in the NPP’s history and campaign work, saying– Ghanaians would choose continuity on this transformative path because they acknowledge the advancements made under the party’s leadership.
Dr. Bawumia has also been vocal about ensuring a peaceful electoral process. He expressed hope that this election would further strengthen the nation’s democratic legacy.
He called on all stakeholders to prioritize unity and responsibility, ensuring a smooth and credible election process.
This optimism reflects both his faith in the electorate’s judgment and the importance of maintaining Ghana’s reputation as a beacon of democracy in Africa.
