Dr. Randy Abbey has joined the Black Stars Management Committee, according to Henry Asante Twum, the director of communications for the Ghana Football Association (GFA).
This decision comes after the Black Stars finished last in Group F with just three points, meaning they were unable to qualify for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
Asante Twum claims that the action is a component of a more comprehensive evaluation of the team’s performance following their second straight group-stage elimination at the 2023 AFCON tournament in Ivory Coast.
In an interview with Asempa FM, he affirmed this.
This action was required due to some evaluations of the team’s performance following the AFCON tournament in Ivory Coast.
