During the 2023 Ghana Music Awards ceremony which was held not many months ago, Artist DSL demonstrated why he was named the ‘Unsung Artist of the Year. There were several performances on the night, but DSL stuck out, making him one of the performers to look out for.
Truth be told, he gave off a phenomenal and ‘lightning’ performance with no hitch. And obviously, any entertainer who sees that everyone is focused on him will give his best to embrace the clout that accompanies it.
As a matter of fact, DSL has been marvelous since he was unearthed at TV3’s MENTOR show. He has gradually taken himself to another level in his music career. His style, confidence, solid stage performance, and vocals has so far been incredible.

Since winning the ‘Unsung’ Award at the 2023 VGMAs, DSL has not been unwinding, particularly when he was signed onto the Lynx Entertainment Label in Accra-Ghana. In fact, people made an attempt to discourage him from joining Lynx Entertainment, but he overlooked them and challenged himself. He is doing very well at this point.
The Tune (Happy):
‘Happy’ was released under Lynx Entertainment few months ago. The song also featured one of Ghana’s best reggae/dancehall artist Larusso, who infused energy to it of some kind.
The song, and the simple chime in verses is one of the expression of the tune. Also, DSL’s command on this distinctive sound is another plus to the ‘Happy’ tune. It was produced by DJ Vyrusky (King Kong).
The fun around this particular tune is unimaginable; particularly, DSL’s special way of crafting it. As a matter of fact, music fans are in outright rapture after paying attention to DSL’s new tune ‘Happy’.
DSL is a Ghanaian reggae/dancehall artist who was named the winner of the 10th edition of TV3’s Mentor in January 2022. Known for popular songs like ‘Boys Pe Cho’, We Make Nice, Dancehall Mantse, and a lot more, DSL whose real name is Lawrence Senyo Adiase, is predicted to be quite possibly, one of the fastest rising artist in Africa.
