Vice President of the Republic of Ghana and Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has shared his vision with the people of Asene Manso on Saturday, August 31, 2024, as part of his campaign tour.
During his speech at Asene Akroso Manso Constituency, VP Dr. Bawumia presented the constituents with his vision for Ghana’s next development phase, which included—the introduction of digital streaming platforms for artists, the expansion of school infrastructure, the introduction of electronic and faceless audit by GRA, opportunities for youth in the NBA and NFL, the establishment of the Ghana School Sports Secretariat, and the ease with which the Ghana Card can be used to obtain a passport.
In addition, he mentioned a number of other game-changing policies, such as the establishment of a Minerals Development Bank, the provision of licenses for small-scale miners, free tertiary education for individuals with disabilities, tax amnesty, a flat rate at the ports, the training of one million youth in information technology, the utilization of solar and wind power to reduce the high demand for electric energy, zero duty on solar panels, repositioning Ghana’s education in the direction of STEM.
He encouraged the people of Asene Akroso Manso Supporters to vote hugely for himself and the NPP Parliamentary Candidate in the impending Presidential and Parliamentary elections in December 2024.
