EMY Africa Awards has been running for as far back as five years, consequently the current year’s event denotes the fifth commemoration of the Award scheme. EMY Africa Awards has for the past number of these years awarded men’s accomplishments.
Since 2016, the EMY Africa has commended the best in men’s accomplishments across local industry, community, culture and public service. Many men and characters from all ages and different backgrounds have been honored for their capacities, initiatives and commitments to society.
The emphasis has been on achievements of men and fathers, and their commitments to society. What’s to come is rapidly turning into the present, thusly imperative for the scheme to mirror good role models to the younger generation.
However, this year’s event which was guaranteed to be a terrific one appears to have been to some degree hit by the pandemic, coronavirus. The 2020 edition of the 5th EMY Africa Awards will fall off on Saturday 4th July, 2020 on Joy Prime TV-Ghana at 8pm and will be streamed live on EMY Africa YouTube and Facebook pages.
