The Ghana Entertainment Awards USA has announced that it will be honoring seven outstanding Ghanaian celebrities at this year’s event.
The acclaimed musician Prince Bright of Buk-Bak fame, renowned television and radio host Deloris Frimpong Manso, more commonly referred to as Delay, renowned music producer and sound engineer Jay Q, ace radio broadcaster Doreen Andoh, and US-based Ghanaian talents MC Papa Links, DJ E Love, and DJ Prince Paul will all be honored at the 2024 awards ceremony, which will take place on July 6 at the Kauffman Music Center in New York.
Prince Bright, known for his powerful role in the music group Buk-Bak, has been a urgent figure in the Ghanaian music scene for decades. His commitments have helped shape the sound and bearing of present day Ghanaian music.
As a host on television and radio, Delay, a household name in Ghana, has made remarkable progress. She has become one of the nation’s most revered and influential media personalities thanks to the groundbreaking interviews and shows she has hosted.
Some of Ghana’s biggest hits were produced by Jay Q, a legendary music producer and sound engineer. He has risen to the top of the music production industry thanks to his innovative production methods and dedication to quality.
Doreen Andoh, a well-known radio host, has also been a pioneer in the media field for more than two decades. Her beautiful and convincing voice and connecting with style have dazzled audience for quite a long time, procuring her a recognized spot in Ghanaian media.
MC Papa Links, DJ E Love, and DJ Prince Paul FSRDJ have each had tremendous effects in the entertainment scenes inside the Ghanaian diaspora in the US. Their contributions to entertainment and music have broadened the audience for Ghanaian music and facilitated lively cultural exchange.
