The Ex-President of Egypt Hosni Mubarak has passed on at age 91. Mubarak was one of the pioneers of the North African nation who governed for three decades from 1981 to 2011. He died on the 25th February, 2020 at the Intensive Care Unit in a private Cairo clinic where he was recouping from a surgery.
Hosni Mubarak has throughout recent years, not been well when he won his freedom on appeal in the wake of being indicted in the slaughtering of protestors during the Arab Spring.
During his rule, the people were not content with him as they argued he has excessively governed, along these lines expected to step down. Thus, they intensely protested across the Middle East which constrained Hosni Mubarak to step down in 2011.
Subsequent to leaving office, he was indicted for the murdering of some protestors throughout the spring and condemned to life detainment. Luckily for him, he was acquited and liberated on appeal in 2017 before battling with different diseases.
