The family of Sean “Diddy” Combs is now permitted to visit him at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center, where he faces serious charges, including sex trafficking, according to law enforcement.
People recently heard from law enforcement sources that the music mogul, who was arrested on September 16 and faces charges of sex trafficking, racketeering, and transport for prostitution, has been removed from mental health precautions.
A lawyer for the rapper claims that Combs is “concentrating on his defense and preparing for his trial” and is in a very positive frame of mind.
According to PEOPLE’s report, Combs is being held in the Brooklyn Detention Center in the same area as disgraced FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried. Around 1,600 inmates are housed in the area, which is well-known for being dangerous and lacking staff.
The allegations that Combs compelled victims to take part in elaborate sexual performances that federal authorities referred to as “freak-offs” are the basis for Combs’ indictment.
It is alleged that Combs personally organized the sessions and frequently recorded the activity on his electronic devices without the victims’ knowledge.
Combs is also accused of using drugs like cocaine, ketamine, and oxycodone to intimidate females into joining his planned crimes, in addition to using coercion and force.
In addition, the federal indictment against Combs mentions the March 2017 seizures of 1,000 bottles of baby oil and lubricant as well as three AR-15 rifles.

Following Combs’ arrest, his attorney offered him a $50 million bail package, which a judge rejected. The judge’s decision was upheld on appeal.
In a recent statement that was made public, Marc Agnifilo, Combs’ attorney, stated that the founder of Bad Boy Records is eager to testify and share his story at his upcoming trial.
Combs faces up to life in prison if convicted. The date of his next court appearance is October 9.
