On May 7, 2025, renowned conductor and composer Ronald Corp OBE died at the age of 74.
As a prominent personality in British classical music, Corp was well-known for his leadership positions and wide-ranging contributions, which included the BBC Concert Orchestra and the esteemed BBC Proms.
In addition, Corpe was the musical director of the Highgate Choral Society and the London Chorus starting in 1994. In addition to conducting, Corp established the New London Children’s Choir and the New London Orchestra.
In addition, he had been ordained as an Anglican priest. Social media is ablaze with tributes to him in response to his passing.
