Fidelity Bank has gone into an essential partnership with Mayfair Estates Ghana Limited to make homeownership more affordable to Ghanaians. The collaboration aims to address Ghana’s severe housing shortage and affordability issues.
At the recent Mayfair Estates Property Roadshow at Mayfair Gardens, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed to formalize the partnership. This marks a huge step in the right direction in extending contract funding options for Ghanaian homebuyers.
The Bank has streamlined the homebuying process by combining their financial expertise with Mayfair Estates’ real estate development expertise.
According to Nana Esi Idun-Arkhurst, Divisional Director, Retail and Business Banking at Fidelity Bank, who was speaking on behalf of Julian Opuni, the bank’s managing director, the company’s ultimate goal is to help more Ghanaians become homeowners.
“We understand that the cost of financing a home can be prohibitive for many, and we are committed to providing solutions. This partnership with Mayfair Estates is a crucial step in expanding our mortgage financing offerings and helping more people achieve their dream of owning a home”- Nana Esi said.
On the other hand, Mayfair Estates Ghana Limited’s Chief Executive Officer, Noble John Watson Otumfour, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership.

Together, we will create tailored mortgage products to meet the diverse needs of Ghanaian homebuyers across different income levels.
