FIFA Arab Cup 2021: 22 National Teams To Participate

FIFA President Gianni Infantino has affirmed that 22 Nationa Teams from the Arab region have joined to partake in the FIFA Arab Cup, which will be arranged from 1 to 18 December 2021. The competition which is required to unite the region, will also assist Qatar with continuing preparations for the FIFA World Cup in 2022.

According to the FIFA President Gianni Infantino, they are enchanted that every one of the 22 teams from the Arab world have consented to participate in the FIFA Arab Cup 2021, which will be held in a lion’s share of FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 arenas.

They are hence anticipating seeing the region’s best teams fight it out to see which country will emerge champion. Through football, this competition will unite more than 450 million people from over the locale, and FIFA is certain that the Arab Cup will assist with building energy over the Arab areas as they edge actually closer to hosting the first FIFA World Cup in the Middle East and Arab world in 2022.

22 teams will partake in the competition, and they are: Algeria, Bahrain, Comoros, Djibouti, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco, Oman, Palestine, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Tunisia, United Arab Emirates and Yemen.

The 16 teams that partake in the last stage will be splitted into four group, with the main two from each fitting the bill for the quarter-finals. An aggregate of 32 matches will be held over 18 days.
