2018 champions France sealed their qualification with rout of Kazakhstan by 8-0. Belgium has also booked their Qatar 2022 ticket after beating Estonia 3-1.

The action opened in Africa with Cameroon defeating Malawi to keep their qualification hopes alive.

The Netherlands and Norway both drew their matches against Montenegro and Latvia respectively, while Turkey thrashed Gibraltar, which will see Group G go down to the wire.
