
Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson, Ghana’s Finance Minister, met with the leadership of MTN Ghana on June 11, 2025, to discuss how to improve the country’s economic environment and advance sustainable development.
Chief Corporate Services and Sustainability Officer Adwoa Afriyie Wiafe, CFO Antoinette Kwofie, and CEO Stephen Blewett of MTN Ghana presided over the meeting.
In order to promote inclusive economic growth, the parties discussed how to create an atmosphere that is more favorable for operations and investment.
Dr. Forson reiterated the government’s dedication to creating an environment that is stable, open, and welcoming to investors so that private businesses can prosper. In order to further Ghana’s long-term development objectives, the government and important industrial actors are continuing to work together more closely.
