Four Experts In National Security Appointed By President Mahama

Four of President Mahama’s current appointees have been designated to assist him in his administration. The President nominated ten regional ministers for screening a few hours ago.

Prosper Douglas Bani, a former chief of staff, was named President Mahama’s national security advisor on Wednesday, January 15. The former Interior Minister Prosper Douglas Bani is a senior manager with expertise in international development and peacebuilding initiatives.

As the new National Security Coordinator, DCOP Abdul-Osman Razak will also be in charge of making sure that all security initiatives follow a unified plan.

However, COP Nathan Kofi Boakye (Rtd.) also assumes responsibility as the Presidency’s Director of Operations in order to supervise operational efficacy.

As the Director General of the National Intelligence Bureau, Charles Kipo has also been given responsibility.

Kwakye Ofosu, President Mahama’s special aide, announced these appointments.
