Justin Bieber, 29, has been involved in numerous controversies throughout his career. In fact, from hitting a photographer with his car and breaking into his neighbor’s house to being arrested for allegedly driving while intoxicated and so forth.
One of the most contentious celebrities of recent times is arguably Justin Bieber. However, there was also the news that Justin Bieber had been banned from performing in China. In 2017, the singer was banned from the country for what they called “bad behavior.”
That year, Beijing’s Culture Bureau in China made an announcement saying that it was not suitable to permit in performers who have participated in ‘bad behaviors’ – the justification for why the bureau restricted Justin Bieber from performing in the country.
The statement read,
“Justin Bieber is a gifted singer, but he is also a controversial young foreign singer,” the statement read. “We hope that as Justin Bieber matures, he can continue to improve his own words and actions, and truly become a singer beloved by the public”
However, the statement did not provide any additional information regarding which of Bieber’s legal encounters it was referring to.
The statement was made in response to a fan’s question about why the pop star hadn’t booked a venue in mainland China in advance of his Asia-wide tour. As a result, China added the singer to a long list of musicians who were similarly blacklisted.
Meanwhile, in June 2022, Bieber posted a video to inform his fans and followers that he had been diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt Syndrome, which prevented him from moving his left eyelids, nostrils, or smiling from that side of his face. He also put an end to his Justice World Tour because of his health.
But Justin recorded a video of himself and asked his fans to “wait for it” in the most recent health update. Finally, he was seen putting on a smile, indicating that his health has improved.
