Ghanaian actor and comedian, Funny Face was involved in a vehicular accident on Sunday night at Kasoa in the Central region and purportedly knocked down some people on foot. One of the people in question, a child is feared dead.
A few eyewitnesses at the scene explained that the accident occurred at Kakraba junction, a suburb in Kasoa.
A mother, two children who were walking by the side of the road and two other adults on bikes were the people in question.
As indicated by the eyewitnesses account, a police later showed up at the location of the accident and whisked away Funny Face, referred to officially as Benson Nana Yaw Oduro Boateng, while the casualties were also taken to the hospital.
One of the eyewitnesses added that while parking his vehicle by the road side, he saw Funny Face in the driver’s seat of the accident vehicle.
He claimed the car first knocked the woman and the children before going ahead to knock the other two on the motorcycles.
The woman had one child at her back and the other was walking with her.
The eyewitness claimed one of the children was feared dead as he was unresponsive when he picked him up.

Funny Face is one of the finest comedians in Ghana, who shot to fame for his role in the well known ‘Chorkor Trotro’ TV series.
Unfortunately, he has been battling an alleged depression in recent times. Few days ago, he shared a video on social media complaining about frustrations and his inability to get access to his children.
The police are yet to comment on the occurrence.
