The 2024/25 UEFA Champions League Final will happen at the Munich’s Fußball Arena in München. When the final is played, this will be recorded in history.

From beginning to end, the construction of the Fußball Arena München lasted less than three years and was completed on April 30, 2005.
It was imagined following a referendum in October 2001, when 65.8% of Munich’s residents casted a ballot to build another field as opposed to recover the Olympiastadion scene for the 1972 summer Olympic Games.
The Fußball Arena München, which is on Werner-Heisenberg-Allee and was built by local rivals Bayern München and 1860 München and is named after the famous German atomic physicist Werner Heisenberg, who won the Nobel Prize for Physics in 1932, opened in May 2005. Bayern have since taken full ownership of the stadium.
The venue organized the 2006 FIFA World Cup opening match between Germany and Costa Rica prior to hosting three further group matches as well as a series of 16 tie and France’s semi-final win against Portugal.
Since its opening, the stadium has seen its great deal of drama, including Chelsea’s penalty shootout victory over Bayern Munich in the Champions League final in 2012.
The Fußball Field München held three UEFA EURO 2020 group matches, all including Germany, in addition to possible champs Italy’s 2-1 quarter-final win against Belgium.
Since it is a venue for UEFA EURO 2024, it is the main arena in history to have games in successive UEFA European Titles. Its capacity for that competition will be 66,000.
Foil panels make up the transparent exterior wall of the stadium. They are lit from the inside and can change color depending on who is playing.
On Saturday, May 31, 2025, the Champions League final will take place. It will be climax of the 70th time of Europe’s tip top club competition and the 33rd since it was renamed the UEFA Champions League.
