Gabby Asare Otchere-Darko, an prominent member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and political tactician has expressed disappointment over the powerlessness of the NPP to showcase its accomplishments within the past couple of years.
Otchere-Darko is of the opinion that, despite the country’s most recent economic difficulties, the government has made significant progress in governing the nation.
Speaking on Asaase radio on Wednesday (31 January) Mr Otchere-Darko revealed that he has “retired from domestic politics”.
“But I get somehow frustrated by the narratives, and a big disappointment I have is with the governing New Patriotic Party itself, it is the lack of recognition of the work that they have done. For me, it’s a major disappointment,” he added.
As per Mr Otchere-Darko, he figures the ruling government ought to have the option to promote the works they have done so far to the people of Ghana, for them to know the advancement in administration.
He went on to say that the NPP ought to have done this a long time ago to establish themselves favorably among citizens.
