Ghana And Barbados To Promote And Safeguard Investments For Growth

Following a new MoU signing, a team from Invest Barbados, led by the CEO Ms. Kaye-Anne Greenidge, paid a business visit to the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC) to consider each party’s commitments and explore alternate ways of facilitating cooperation.

Key among conversations held were the efforts to create a Bilateral Investment Treaty between Ghana and Barbados to promote and safeguard investments between the two nations.

During the meeting, there was also a discussion on the need to increase investment promotion efforts to exhibit opportunities in Africa and the Caribbean.

The CEO of Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC), Yofi Grant, emphasized that both regions should own their stories and highlight the prospects and systems accessible for investors.

The meeting reached a successful end with the two CEOs committed to continue cooperation and collaboration in exploring mutually beneficial partnerships.
