Ghana and Rayzone Group Talk About Cybersecurity for Improved Infrastructure And Digital Innovations

Hon. Sam Nartey George, Ghana’s Minister of Communications, Digital Technology, and Innovations, received a delegation from the Israeli cyber intelligence company Rayzone Group on February 24, 2025.

Dr. Albert Antwi-Boasiako, a cybersecurity advisor, accompanied the team. Exploring possible partnerships to improve Ghana’s digital innovations and cybersecurity infrastructure was the main goal of the meeting.

The Ministry has been proactive in putting directives and frameworks aimed at protecting the nation’s digital assets into effect. Rayzone Group has previously shown a growing interest in Africa, having presented its interception and cybersecurity systems to delegations from countries like the Democratic Republic of Congo.

The partnership between Ghana and Rayzone Group is anticipated to strengthen the country’s cybersecurity capabilities, ensuring a resilient and secure digital environment for its citizens and institutions.
