Ghana’s Midfielder Christiana Ashiaku scored three goals in the Maidens win over their West African counterparts in the semifinal of the WAFU B U-17 Girls Cup on Thursday, December 19.
In the fourteenth minute, Ashiaku went on a solo run and then slotted the ball into the left bottom corner to give the host country the lead.
Three minutes later, she beat the goalie once more to make it 3-0 after racing onto a long ball from Latifa Abesik to double the lead.
On the cusp of halftime, Ashiaku completed her hat-trick by bouncing the ball over the rushing goalie to make it 3-0.
