Ghana Business Forum 2023: This Is What Transpired..

The Ghana Business Forum took place on April 20, 2023, and a number of individuals and organizations were present. The event provided an opportunity to highlight the numerous opportunities available on Africa’s continent.

That said, numerous organizations, including Ghana Investment Promotion Centre led by Mr Yofi Grant, CEO of the outfit were all present. At the Ghana Business Forum, which was hosted by the Howard University School of Business, Mr Yofi Grant actually spoke to the audience about the opportunity for Ghana and Africa.

His interaction with Warner Music Group/Blavatnik Center for Business Music industry expert Professor Jasmine Young was a significant highlight of the forum. They spoke about the potential opportunities in Ghana’s creative arts industry, particularly in music, during the meeting.

Professor Jasmine Young’s broad experience working with celebrated artists, for example, DMX and Jay Z, made her bits of knowledge significant to a many individuals who has an enormous vision for the development and growth of Ghana’s music industry.

Professor Jasmine Young is set to visit Ghana in the coming months to host a studio and discussion for the creative industry and music industry, in a joint effort with the Ghana Tourism Authority, Ghana Investment Promotion Center (GIPC), and the ‘Beyond The Return’ Secretariat.

Mr. Akwasi Agyeman, CEO of the Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA), was also at the forum. He spoke about recent developments in Ghana’s tourism industry and the possibility of working together and using the diaspora to grow the industry.

The Business Forum hosted by the Howard University School of Business was a significant advancement for the school as it furnished a potential chance to interface with the African continent. In addition, it served as a platform on which Ghana’s transformation into an emerging market was highlighted, inclusion the numerous opportunities in Africa.

Present at the occasion were representatives of some top institution including: The World Bank, European Union, Ghana Free Zones Authority, Ghana Export Promotion Authority, African Development Bank Group, African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank), World Trade Organization, Media General Ghana, CNN, Citi FM and some more.
