Ghana Launches ‘Work Abroad Program’ To Create Job Opportunities..

The ‘Work Abroad Program’ was formally launched in Ghana on March 18, 2025. By linking Ghanaians with employment opportunities overseas, this effort seeks to generate employment chances for them in a variety of international marketplaces. The Youth Employment Agency (YEA) is leading this effort.

Key participants in the event included representatives from international organizations, government authorities, and business leaders.

The program consists of:

Job Placement Assistance: Facilitating employment opportunities in sectors such as healthcare, IT, construction, and hospitality.

Skills Development: Training and certification programs to help participants meet international job market requirements.

Legal and Immigration Support: Ensuring smooth visa processing and compliance with foreign employment regulations.

Youth Participation Is Driving Ghana’s Export Growth

Partnerships: Collaboration with recruitment agencies, embassies, and international employers.
