Ghana Thrash Madagascar To Get Closer To Securing A Spot In The World Cup

On March 24, 2025, Ghana’s Black Stars defeated Madagascar 3-0 in their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying match in Morocco.

The goals came from Mohammed Kudus and Thomas Partey, with the latter scoring a brace with two strong headers after superb crosses in either half.

With this victory, Ghana maintains their advantage over Madagascar and solidifies their place in their qualifying group. Throughout the game, the Black Stars played with a strong defense, successfully thwarting Madagascar’s offensive attempts. ​

Due to stadium restrictions, Madagascar was unable to host the game on its own soil, instead it was played in Morocco at the Grand Stade Al-Hoceima. ​
