
Ghana Week in Washington, DC is scheduled for October 9-14, 2023. It will include activities to promote Ghana as a preferred destination for the historical diaspora for travel, investments, trade, sports, and culture.
On Sunday, May 21st, a media launch for “Ghana Week in DC” took place at the Accra City Hotel in preparation for this event.
Head of PR and Communications Charles Opoku Mensah, who was there to represent the Center at the event, talked about how football has a remarkable ability to attract people from all over the world, regardless of their background, culture, or background.
He said that the Center was looking forward to using the event’s power to show the many opportunities Ghana and the US have.
The Ghana Tourism Authority, Ghana Investment Promotion Centre, Ghana Export Promotion Authority, Ghana Football Association, Embassy of Ghana – Washington, DC, City of DC, Mayor Office, and PKB Enterprises are working together to put on the upcoming event.
In order to promote Ghana’s cultural diversity and economic opportunities during Ghana Week, a number of Ghanaian organizations, businesses, and community groups will unite. The event aims to strengthen ties between Ghana and the United States, promote cultural exchange, and serve as a venue for business networking and collaboration.

Ghana Week in DC frequently draws in a different crowds, including Ghanaians living in the US, individuals from the Ghanaian diaspora, people keen on Ghanaian culture, as well as government authorities, negotiators, and business leaders.
