Ghana’s COVID-19 Case Count Go Past 40,000

Ghana’s COVID-19 case check has reached at 40,097 after 455 new cases recorded as indicated by the Ghana Health Service.

The number of recuperations and discharge remains at 36,638 with 3,253 active cases.

Seven (7) people have tragically passed on taking the number of passings to 206.

The capital city, Greater Accra Region recorded 20,300, while the Ashanti Region’s numbers has expanded to – 9,972. Western Region has 2,766 and Eastern Region also recording 1,809 cases.

The Central Region has 1,669 cases, with the Volta Region additionally recording – 614. The rest are: Bono East Region – 569, Western North Region – 526, Bono Region – 439, Northern Region – 424, Ahafo Region – 364, Upper East Region – 282, Oti Region – 204, Upper West Region – 88, Savannah Region – 62, and the least case tally, North East Region – with 9 infections.
